PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — A panel of experts on health care and international policy will come together for a discussion of "American Health Care Reform: Lessons Learned from International Systems," on Thursday, October 10, 2013, at 4 p.m. at the Alpert Medical School, 222 Richmond St. Sponsored by the Brown University School of Public Health and the Watson Institute for International Studies, this event is free and open to the public. Former President of Chile Ricardo Lagos, Brown University professor at large, will open the discussion. Other participants include Richard Locke, director of the Watson Institute; Terrie Fox Wetle, dean of public health; Vincent Mor, professor of health services, policy, and practice; James Morone, professor of political science and urban studies; and Rhode Island Lt. Gov. Elizabeth Roberts

The audience will be invited to ask questions following the discussion.
