PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — Local and national community leaders will come together for a forum on “Racial Profiling in Rhode Island,” hosted by Brown University. Free and open to the public, the event will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at 6 p.m. in Rites and Reason Theatre, Churchill House, 155 Angell St.
Sponsored by the Rhode Island Racial Profiling Coalition and the Brown University Department of Africana Studies, the forum will focus on creating and sustaining a comprehensive community dialogue on racial profiling and how this issue challenges the entire Rhode Island community.
