On Thursday evening, March 21, representatives from Hospitals for a Healthy Environment in Rhode Island, a broad coalition of state institutions including Brown, will recognize efforts among health care providers to keep the environment as healthy as their patients. The 2013 Rhode Island Sustainability Award for sustainable operation will go to Kent Hospital’s Keeping it Green team. Nurse Sylvia Weber will be recognized with the environment champion award. Thursday’s awards event and gala run from 6 to 9 p.m. at Roger Williams Park Casino.
