PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — Two undergraduate students who had not returned to campus from spring break travels have been found safe, according to University officials.

Classes resumed at the University on Monday, March 30. University officials sent the following e-mail to the student body late Thursday evening, April 2:

Dear students,

We wrote to you last night about two students who had not returned from spring break. We write tonight with the good news that they have been found, and that they are safe.

We share the relief and joy felt by family and friends of these students. And we remain extremely grateful for the work done by law enforcement agencies, as well as by members of the Brown community, that led to this outcome. We look forward to their safe return to campus.

Yours sincerely,

Katherine Bergeron, Dean of the College
