With snow falling and temperatures hovering near freezing, dozens of new transfer and visiting undergraduate students processed through the College Green as part of their midyear orientation. The incoming group includes 52 transfer students and three students visiting under the Brown University–Tougaloo College Partnership. Led by the Brown Band, the students walked through the Van Wickle Gates, across the College Green, and over to the Faculty Club, where they were warmly welcomed to a brunch with academic deans and directors.
