Michael Slaby, a former Brown varsity soccer player, found himself in the world of politics and entrepreneurship soon after graduation. Through his leadership experiences in both of the Obama campaigns to the Head of Timshel, a technology company that builds platforms to drive human progress, Slaby has become obsessed with changing and improving the world through technology and innovation. Slaby, now the executive director of Chicago Ideas, visits Brown for a discussion on the entrepreneurial process, social change and how technology and entrepreneurship can impact the world.
