In the 1960s, photographer Danny Lyon made a name for himself photographing everyone from student leaders of the Civil Rights movement to convicts in Texas prisons, insisting they all be seen. This exhibition, part of a broader Brown Arts Initiative series titled “On Protest, Art and Activism,” spotlights some of Lyon’s most thought-provoking work.
