The Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies presents a rendition of Kym Moore's Passing Strange, a comedy-drama rock musical. As part of the first Sock and Buskin show of the semester, the musical follows the journey of a young African American protagonist and their search for self-identity in Europe. The performance will take viewers through a maze of existential thought, meta fiction, and self-referential humor. In celebration of the 250th anniversary, tickets are $2.50 on Friday, Mar. 7. The show will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and at 2 p.m. on Sundays through March 9. Tickets will be available at the Leeds Box Office and are $15 for general admission, $12 for staff, and $7 for students. All performances will be held in Stuart Theatre, 75 Waterman St.
