The Center for World University Rankings has ranked Brown University 77th among the world’s 100 best universities in the 2013 CWUR World University Rankings. CWUR gathered data on more than 16,000 universities worldwide. In subcategories, Brown ranked 89th for influence; 96th for citations; 67th for faculty quality; 52nd for alumni employment; and 59th for quality of education. The top 10 universities were Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, MIT, Cambridge, Columbia, Berkeley, Princeton, Chicago, and Yale. Fifty-seven of the top 100 were U.S. institutions.
