Taylin Im, a pre-med piano student in the Applied Music Program, is a semifinalist in the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra's (CCSO) "The Soloist" competition, which picks three young musicians to be the featured guest artists at the CCSO’s final concert of the season, The Virtuosos: Orchestra & Soloists, to be held May 4 and 5, 2013. The public can vote for the three finalists on the Orchestra’s website. The winners will be announced on March 15, 2013.
