Ghanain Vice President H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama will be the keynote speaker at the two-day Mother-To-Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS Summit in the capital Accra April 25-26. The conference is a product of a USAID-funded partnership led by Brown and the University of Ghana that was announced last fall. Drs. Tim Flanigan, Susan Cu-Uvin, Bharat Ramratnam, and Awewura Kwara of the Warren Alpert Medical School will speak on the title theme “Towards and HIV-free generation by 2015,” with other officials and health workers from Ghanain and U.S. institutions.
