The Brown Bookstore has partnered with the first World Book Night U.S. on April 23 in an effort to get more people in America reading. The organization worked with publishing companies to have special editions of books printed for distribution on April 23. Participants will then be able to pick up their books for distribution at giving parties all around the country, including the Brown Bookstore, and distribute them on April 23 to locations of their choosing, such as community centers, hospitals, and homeless shelters. The Brown Bookstore has 25 boxes of 20 books that are set for distribution, including a few that have not yet been assigned to a drop-off location.
