<p>The 11th day of the 11th month in 2011 was the fifth year in a row that Brown marked Veterans Day with an outdoor event. The ceremony began at the flag pole on the College Green, where a bagpiper and several student members of ROTC lead the crowd down to Lincoln Field. It was gray and chilly with a blustery wind, but the event drew nearly 100 people to honor the fallen and remember Brown students who have served in the military.</p>
