Marie Myung-Ok Lee of the Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America, Catherine Imbriglio of the English Department, and Lawrence Goodman of the Brown Alumni Monthly magazine have received literary fellowships from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Lee received the award for excellence in fiction; Imbriglio for excellence in poetry; and Goodman for excellence in playwriting. The three writers will be reading from their work at the 2011 RISCA Fellowship Exhibition Writers Night at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at the Cooperative Gallery of Westerly in Westerly, R.I. The gallery opens at 4 p.m.
