C.A. Conrad, the author of nine books of poetry and essays, will read in Brown University’s Writers On Writing Reading Series. Critic A.D. Amorosi wrote in the Philadelphia Enquirer that Conrad’s “books are filled with alluringly odd and dark images that could rival William S. Burroughs.  Conrad, an out and proud gay activist, fills his poems with his own brand of spirituality and loving gay sexuality.” McCormack Family Theater, 70 Brown St.
