Kenyan native Wangechi Mutu joins Performa curator and Walker Art Center curator-at-large Adrienne Edwards in a conversation exploring the influence of traditional African craft and cultural heritage on the artist’s work and storytelling. Mutu’s work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions at Deutsche Guggenheim, Duke University, Studio Museum in Harlem, Tate Liverpool and Palais de Tokyo, among others.
