This year, the Political Concepts Initiative’s annual conference focuses on revising, inventing and experimenting with the ways in which universities study science. Speakers at the two-day conference present a single concept that they believe should be revised or deconstructed, from truth to peer review to race. Each presentation questions the ways in which these concepts transform research and academia -- and asks how science itself has been shaped as an arena of political struggle. Room 305, Pembroke Hall, 172 Meeting Street.
