In honor of Brown's 250th Anniversary, the John Carter Brown Library presents "Off to College: Higher Education in the Americas 1551-1825." The exhibition will feature books, maps, and manuscripts related to higher education in America's Spanish and English colonies, from the foundation of universities in Lima and Mexico City in 1551 through the creation of Harvard, Brown, and other universities. The exhibition will run through October 31 in the JCB Library, MacMillan Reading Room, the College Green.
