The Creative Arts Council presents "Girl Swarm," an exhibit curated by Celine Katzman '15. As part of the opening celebration of Brown's 250th anniversary, the exhibit revolves around the use of digital media and the next wave of feminism. If history is an indicator of what will happen in the future, it shows that over the last century women have used the technological innovations of their time to propel feminist rights to new heights. From pamphlets to xerox produced magazines of the past, the multimedia exhibition will show how women today are connecting through a series of 2D, 3D, and video based works. An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. in the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts, 154 Angell St., Lower Lobby. The exhibit will run through the weekend, March 8-9, till 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively.
