Poet Martin Corless-Smith will read from his work as part of the Writers on Writing Reading Series. Corless-Smith is the author of Swallows, Nota, Complete Travels, Of Piscator, and of English Fragments: A Brief History of the Soul, which was described by Daniel Tiffany in Rain Taxi Review of Books as “a book that will haunt readers for generations to come.” He is also the author of a limited edition chapbook, Roman and Moscow Poems, published in 2011. A former Truman Capote Fellow at the Iowa Writers Workshop, Corless-Smith is currently the director of the M.F.A. Program in Creative Writing at Boise State University.
