In this Medical Forum, Deacon Patrick J. Moynihan '87, president of The Haitian Project (THP), Inc., and Nick Carter '13 M.D., a volunteer with THP, will discuss the impact of Brown's presence in Haiti. Their mission has been to educate some of the nation's poorest (and brightest) junior high and high school students, and provide advanced medical training for their graduates interested in pursuing a medical career. Carter is working with area hospitals to improve care for the critically ill and malnourished, and Moynihan leads the Louverture Cleary School. This discussion begins at 3 p.m. in Alpert Medical School, 222 Richmond St., Lecture Hall 170. http://brown.edu/about/commencement/about/commencement-reunion-forums
