In this Commencement Forum, Gene Sharp, honorary degree candidate, political theorist and scholar of nonviolent struggle, will speak about the six decades he has spent articulating and advancing the cause of nonviolent action for change. His close study of Gandhi and dicatatorships, as well as his own ideals and writings, have informed nonviolent struggles for freedom around the world.
