The Department of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies presents Arts in the World 2012, an annual gathering bringing together students, faculty, artists, and activists to explore the ways in which the artistic and the political can work together. This year's featured lecturers are Rhodessa Jones, founder and director the Medea Project: Theater for Incarcerated Women, and Thomas Riccio, professor of performance and aesthetic studies at University of Texas at Dallas. Other events include a play and film screening. For a complete schedule, visit the link below. http://www.brown.edu/Departments/Theatre_Speech_Dance/AOW12.html
