Graduate student Ryan Carney will discuss leading an international team to a discovey about winged dinosaur Archaeopteryx, purported to be the missing link in the evolution of bird flight. Suzanne de la Monte, professor of neurosurgery, will speak about her important work on the connection between diet, insulin levels, and Alzheimer's disease, which has attraction national attention.
